This creative movement proposal is aimed at the children of the nursery school of the L. Cadorna school and is based on a dance-movement therapy approach.
Through this approach, we want to offer children the opportunity to experience, thanks to dance and therefore body movement, a new way of relating with each other and with the outside world.
The body, through the movement of the dance, becomes the instrument of action in the world, through which the child has the possibility of recognizing and expressing his own emotional experiences, putting them in connection with the body sensation, images and words (body image) all in a creative play group context.
Thanks to dancemovementherapy, children learn to “know how to move”, that is, to create and interpret their own movement in intentional and communicative terms.
