We are an Association for Social Promotion founded in Milan in 2014. We operate in the social, rehabilitation, cultural and educational fields. Our operational headquarters are located in the San Siro district but we work throughout the national territory.
The care and support of contexts of social frailty (children, Italian and foreign women, people with disabilities, asylum seekers, families) are our priorities. We give particular relevance and attention to the intercultural aspects of the social fabric, through the language and practice of art therapy and expressive and creative languages. The inspiration of our philosophy is the Sardinian artist Maria Lai with her universal concept of life, places and relationships that are woven and intertwined, like the threads of a frame that meet and intertwine creating a colorful, rich and strong texture .
We use art therapy as relational mediators. We synergistically integrate the various art therapy (dance therapy, art therapy, music therapy and storytelling) enriching them by drawing on specific theoretical guidelines, including: psychodynamics, Jungian analysis, active education. We work in co-conduction.
The association aims to:
Foster the development of awareness and growth of the individual and group;
Promote the development of the person, psychophysical well-being and the quality of life;
Develop and enhance individual expressive, creative and relational qualities;
Foster integration and social cohesion;
Prevent school dispersion and counteracting educational poverty.

““I work the thread for the need to inhabit my body in an interior point from which to weave a precise order: organic expression walkable poem trap for those who cannot read the origin and horizon of the sign “(A. M. Farabbi). At the beginning there was a dance therapist, with his training, his wealth of knowledge, his dancing body, a strong passion for dance therapy and an equally strong propensity to welcome others: at the beginning there were also boys and girls with disabilities psychomotor and their families: the dance therapist and these boys met weekly in a place, and thus the “Strawberry Room” was born, a meeting place where thanks to dance therapy meetings took place, dialogues were recovered or born, relationships developed .
Through the conscious use of movement it was possible to mediate for example where with the word this could become difficult: the movement stimulated and favored in these people expressive-motor creativity, an alternative way to face and understand even difficult issues.
Then something changed, the times were ripe, the desire for compelling change, the passion always: the dancer therapist joined two other passionate and competent dancer therapists, as a magical piper told the boys and girls of the Strawberry Room to follow her along a new path, and so it was that the group arrived in a bare, unadorned, cold place: with much patience and passion it was furnished, made welcoming, warm and baptized: thus the loom of the arts was born.
“Appo intenso sonu’ e telarzu, e sa bidda no parìat più morta …” (I heard the twinkling of a loom, and the village no longer seemed dead to me).
A. Cambosu.
Sharing spaces and work times arises from previous collaborations that have strengthened mutual esteem and the belief that an integrated approach expands our wealth of skills, allowing us to offer personalized services centered on the needs of the person.
Volunteers are an important resource that we value and constantly train through teams, supervision and informal meetings in order to make inclusion in our projects more effective and efficient. We believe it is important to identify the skills and needs of each one, in this way the group exchanges knowledge and the individual is valued. Over the years, the attendance of volunteers has increased and this denotes an interest in wanting to be part of our team: currently there are 12 volunteers of various ages and backgrounds who with enthusiasm and professionalism enrich the work group and present and future projects.
