“Con il Naso all’Insù” is a project aimed at the San Siro public housing complex (E.R.P.) in Milan, known as the “Quadrilatero di San Siro”. The project intends to create a path of education and awareness on the issue of respect for the environment, in a neighborhood where, due to severe educational and economic poverty, this problem is seen as very distant from everyday life and therefore often ignored. “Con ilNaso all’Insù” will include two phases: in the first part, workshops will be held in schools and youth centers, during which, through the instrument of art, children and young people will be made aware of the importance of protecting the environment and taking action against global warming. Subsequently, a mural will be created that will plasticly represent the themes dealt with in the workshops, extending them to the entire population. “Conil Naso all’Insù” is part of the great social cohesion project “Arte a San Siro” which intends to transform the so-called “Quadrilatero di San Siro” into a real “museo urbano”, making it a new tourist and cultural destination for the city . Currently two murals have been created in Piazza Selinunte, financed by a tender from the Municipality of Milan.
